The winners of the Art Chair contest (both popular vote and juror’s selection) are Marlene Logan & Amanda Pegeron who worked collaboratively. The juror, Toni Showalter Scott, an alum of the studio program and a local art teacher served as juror. She found this art chair makes a strong statement about ideas of contemporary virtual communication and a sense of de-humanization that can result. Also, she was impressed by the inventive use of materials.
